The Grand Elementary Dot Art Gallery

In February, CPSF partnered with the Grand Elementary Library to complete a fun project with students: The Grand Elementary Dot Art Gallery.

CPSF Director- Gab Shepard and Grand Elementary Librarian- Mrs. Edwards took turns reading “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds, a story about a teacher who inspires a young student to “make her mark.”

After some discussion about the book, students were asked to create their very own “Dot Art.” We were blown away by their creativity! Their art work was turned into an art gallery for viewing during the book fair and parent/teacher conferences!

Thank you, Mrs. Edwards, for partnering with CPSF on this activity! We look forward to more projects like these in the future!
